Ingredients for
Moong Magdal
मूंग धुली दाल - Moong Dhuli dal - 1 cup (200 grams)
घी - Ghee - 3/4 cup (150 grams)
पिसी चीनी - Sugar powder - 200 grams
पिस्ता कतरन - Pistachio Flakes

Instructions:
Clean Moong Dal:
Thoroughly clean moong dal using a damp cloth.

Grinding Moong Dal:
Grind the moong dal into a fine powder and strain it.

Roast Moong Dal Atta with Ghee:
In a pan, melt ghee over medium heat. Add the moong dal powder and continuously stir until it becomes light brown.
Allow the mixture to cool completely. After cooling, mix in the sugar powder.

Whip the Mixture:
Whip the mixture with clean hands until it becomes fluffy and light in color.

Shaping the Magdal:
Allow the mixture to cool slightly. Grease your hands with ghee and shape the mixture into small round or oval shapes.

Garnishing:
Garnish each magdal with pistachio flakes. Gently press them to adhere to the surface.

Serve:
Once set, your delicious and aromatic magdal is ready to be served. Enjoy this traditional sweet as a delightful treat!
