RUSH - La Villa Strangiato - Drum Cover - Adam Johnston

Описание к видео RUSH - La Villa Strangiato - Drum Cover - Adam Johnston

La Villa Strangiato Drum cover was a HUGE challenge for me. This instrumental by Rush has so many time changes, breaks, dynamics, drum fills and even a little jazz it took me weeks to finally get it right. It's not perfect but it's pretty close.
This album really takes me back to my roots. Truly inspiring and magical. I played to this album everyday after school and then played this song at the 9th grade talent show. What memories. I wish I had I still had the super 8 film recordings of this.
Neil has so many nuances and flavors he brings to this album it is a blast to play. After a couple of takes I think I got it. I hope you like it. Enjoy!
Special thanks to my wife the cinematographer : )
