It is crazy how life is made up of a series of decisions and choices that appear with opportunities. Our lives are continuously affected by event after event that ultimately culminates into each person's unique existence on Earth.

On February 22, 2014, James River High School and its Specialty Center for Leadership & International Relations explored this deeper with its third TEDxYouth@JamesRiverRoad event. Speakers from different fields of life possessed the opportunity to share their experiences with the attending audience in TED Talks that emphasized the possibilities, the reality, and the opportunities.

Sue Davies is the Vice President of Strategy, Innovation, and Marketing for MeadWestvaco's Home and Garden business based at MWV's global headquarters in Richmond, VA. She is responsible for the development and deployment of the global Home and Garden strategy in addition to leading the marketing and innovation functions for the business. Originally from the United Kingdom, Sue is a Commerce (Honors) graduate from Birmingham University in the UK. After university, Sue obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management. She is married to Steve Davies and has three teenage children. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering with her church, property renovation, photography, and kayaking.
