Reaction to Baltimore Mayor Scott's veto of the bill reducing pension requirements for City Council

City Councilman Zeke Cohen, who represents District 1, has been a vocal critic of the bill from the beginning. He spoke out Wednesday about Scott's decision.


"This was the right move by Mayor Scott," said Cohen. "Here we are with the council president, putting out legislation that one, was ill-timed because there was no reason to rush this bill. and two, lacked any kind of financial analysis. "So, to me this legislation sent the wrong message to Baltimoreans," he added.
