Mercedes (R129,W124,W140,W201) Improve Engine Efficiency. Change the Intake Air Temperature Sensor

This how-to video shows all the steps required to change your car's engine intake air temperature sensor (IAT). This $20 part is easy to replace. It is used by your car's computer to determine the correct air fuel mixture required by your engine to maintain optimal engine efficiency. A faulty or impaired IAT sensor leads to poor acceleration, hard cold starts and poor fuel economy.
The video shows a 1992 Mercedes Benz 300SL (R129), but the same part is used for a 500SL (it needs 2), and many of the W124, W140 and W201 models.
