Wild oysters are being re-established along parts of our coastline to act as very efficient natural sea filters. This project has been organised by the Zoological Society of London and local partners, Groundwork North East and Cumbria. To celebrate the completion of the work, a giant oyster reef sand drawing was created with the help of the local community.
