We started this Offbeat Kashmir tour in the last week of June-23. The journey started from Gulmarg,then we proceeded towards Gurez valley and then reached Kokernag, Daksum, Sinthan Top and ended our tour at Srinagar.

Our flight was in the afternoon, so we planned to roam in Srinagar, below are the activities we did throughout the day.

Hotel Heemal - We stayed at this hotel for Rs 4000 for double occupancy, it is a jktdc property, just across the Dal lake, you get a beautiful view of Dal Lake from its balcony.

Lal chowk - This is market area, located in the heart of the city.

Amritsari Vaishno Dhaba - We had paratha with rajma, the taste was typical punjabi style.

Hari Parbat - Hari Parbat is a historic fort, commonly known as the Hari Parbat Fort. The fort was built during the Mughal period in the 18th century by Afghan governor Atta Mohammad Khan. The outer walls of the hill were built during the same period and encircle a large area.

Chhati Patshahi Gurudwara Sahib - This is dedicated to Sikh Guru Hargobind Sahib (the Sixth Guru). Guru Hargobind Sahib had a significant influence on the region during his time. You will see a well in the premises of this gurudwara.

Ali Shah - Just next to Gurudwara sahib, they have a showroom as well as factory where one can see the making of the carpets & buy too.

Vishal Vaishno Dhaba - We had lunch here, this is a vegetarian restaurant.

After lunch we proceeded towards the airport to board the flight for Delhi.
