Описание к видео VCF East XI - John Blankenbaker and the Kenbak

John gained interest in computers in 1949 as a freshman physics major at what’s now Oregon State University. Two years later he worked on the National Bureau of Standard’s SEAC (Standards Eastern Automatic Computer). His computer career took him to Hughes Aircraft Company. While unemployed in 1970, he began designing a computer for personal use. This became the Kenbak, one of the earliest personal computers.
