Surfing in the Mentawai Islands December 2023. These drone views give you a good perspective of a few of the popular lineups including Macaronis, Thunders, Burgerworld, Roxies and Lances Right. This year throughout December we seen small to moderate swell with light winds and glassy conditions. Good fun waves better suited for the average surfer not chasing big barrels. We did see a few days with some solid over head waves and crowds were low with only a few surf charters still operating. Its been a good start to 2024 with our first swell hitting yesterday. Our trips start again early February, but I guess there will be some fun sessions going down throughout January.
