Step up Saturday #8 - Crafting with no rules featuring Stampin' Up! Charming Duck Pond

The cute ducks are back, this time with a more stepped-up version of the card I made last week. I promised in last week’s tutorial that I would use the Designer Series Paper (DSP) that came in the same suite as the Charming Duck Pond bundle, so here it is.

I loved making this card as it allowed me to break out my blends, which I haven’t used recently. The Stampin’ Up! Blends are so good they make even the most amateur at colouring in look like a seasoned pro. Look at the colours used too – combinations I would never think of putting together but are included in the DSP so I copied them onto my stamped images.

The card is finished off with a simple sentiment, images layered up on dimensionals and some gorgeous, dappled dot embellishments, with a lovely crackled design on them. Such an enjoyable card to make, I hope you love it too!
