This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Changing the way we talk and think about consent.

Lyndsay Anderson is no stranger to student life – up until very recently she had lived in university residences for 13 years as a student and a staff member. She is currently the Manager, Student Dispute Resolution at Dalhousie University, where she manages a Restorative Justice Pilot program for Dalhousie students. Her previous experience includes 8 years as a live-in residence life professional at Dalhousie University and St. Francis Xavier University. Lyndsay holds a BA in Criminology from the University of Toronto and is completing her Master’s Degree in Women and Gender studies at Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax. She has presented her research on the sexualisation of campus culture at conferences nationally and internationally and she attends classrooms, workshops and conferences to share her ideas and insights. When not working or in school, she enjoys performing in local community theatre performances, teaching group fitness classes, and playing roller derby with the Halifax Roller Derby Association.
