Taito's Survival Horror Hidden Gem! Chaos Heat on the Taito G-Net. Retro Gaming PS1 Fun for Arcades!

Описание к видео Taito's Survival Horror Hidden Gem! Chaos Heat on the Taito G-Net. Retro Gaming PS1 Fun for Arcades!

Chaos Heat is probably one of the best PS1 video games you have never played...and that's because this awesome arcade survival horror game from Taito was made on arcade Playstation 1 hardware but NEVER ported home. It's such a bummer because from a retro gaming perspective Chaos Heat is a pure 10/10!

Hello and welcome to "The Unported Playlist"

So we decided to extend this playlist from 10 games to does it even matter what the count is anymore? lol it's a lot! But doesn't retrogaming deserve it?

On this episode of Unported Playlist we are taking a look at Chaos Heat from Taito. It's basically "arcade Resident Evil", which is to say its an action oriented survival horror style third person shooter exclusive to arcades. Retrogaming didn't get many of these types of games in arcades but Chaos Heat is here to fill that retrogaming void!

It runs on the Taito G-Net arcade board, which is just a slightly more powerful PlayStation 1 / PSX that uses PCMCIA memory cards vs cd-rom like the original PS1 game console did. It has a bit of a Die Hard Arcade on the Sega Saturn vibe going for it too...mixed with a bit of Dino Crisis from Capcom
