How to Play Blues the Bebop Way | Charlie Parker Style | Blues for Alice

Описание к видео How to Play Blues the Bebop Way | Charlie Parker Style | Blues for Alice

Are you a harmonica player trying to make the transition from Blues to Jazz? What’s the most important key harp for playing Jazz? Is it possible to sound like Charlie Parker without using overblows/overdraws? This video will give you some insights on how to play blues the bebop way.

In Charlie Parker’s style, using the same chord changes as his tune “Blues for Alice”, I wrote a tune called “Mellow Bird Blues”. The melody (and solo) can be played without using overblows/overdraws. And- I think that those who play other instruments would also enjoy this tune.

The harmonica I use in this video: Hohner Marine Band customized by Joe Filisko (Bb)
