My mama always said that walls were not to be trifled with. We'll find that, similar to batteries, the whole dang electrical distribution system has internal resistance. This means power is being wasted as heat.

We'll see that voltage at the outlet drops when a significant (low resistance) load is attached. In the next video, we'll discover how this voltage drop BECAUSE OF the power lines can be reduced. Hint - it's why those power lines are so high up in the air. Keep learning.
