2020年三月，涼秋罹患了罕見的膽囊小細胞癌，醫生宣告她已經癌末，只剩一年的時間。

「我是他們看過癌症末期，最三八、最樂觀的。」

從罹癌到面對死亡，涼秋不斷學著自我調適，甚至為自己準備好離去時要穿的衣服。她希望能優雅開心走完人生最後一段歲月，好好地告別。

兩個女兒從美國返台陪伴涼秋，但大女兒Doreen有許多心結還在糾結。

Doreen：「我在美國出生的，差不多四個月，就被爺爺奶奶帶去台灣。我頭幾年真的不太認識我爸媽，我知道這個他們聽到會難過。」

涼秋：「陰影最大的是我們把她送回台灣幾年，她心裡面覺得她被拋棄了。」

母女都想靠近彼此，卻又害怕受傷害。夾在姊姊和媽媽中間，小女兒立瑱扮演什麼關鍵角色？

時間倒回快40年前，涼秋和先生Mike勇闖陌生的美國，身在異鄉又發生了什麼故事？

Despite the crushing news, Mish refuses to let terminal cancer destroy her joie de vivre and has embraced death the same way she lived, with passion and purpose. Today, we meet Mish and her family as they build a deeper bond before saying goodbye. Though Mish has maintained an upbeat attitude to cancer and has already outlived her prognosis, does she feel any fear as the time nears? Why, despite the situation, are difficult conversations needed to heal old wounds? How has a podcast and the family's love of dance helped them embrace the moment and come to terms with death?
