The Supreme Lord Krishna desires that we become perfect like Himself, transcendental in virtue and qualities. The brahmi sthiti (state of liberation) can be achieved even while living in the world as we have seen in saints like Surdas, Tulsidas, Meerabai, Tukaram, Kabir and Narsi Mehta. Swami Vivekananda states “These great prophets were not unique. They were human as you and I and they had attained super consciousness. And you and I can do the same.” They worked on giving up desires using Buddhi Yog - Yoga of the Intellect. They cultivated and practiced all this knowledge, and they achieved the goal. We should also strive to do the same.
