(Class 2B) CDC L7, L8 and TP Test Route

Описание к видео (Class 2B) CDC L7, L8 and TP Test Route

For L7 and L8, Observe the traffic rules and remember your own safety checks.
A few key points
1. When exiting from CDC, the stop line is a must to stop. After stopping, if the traffic is clear, make your left turn. CBR, BSL and turn. If traffic is heavy, inch forward one bike length to wait for traffic to clear. Communicate who to go first.
2. At every junction, go slow a bit and observe for danger and anticipate the change in traffic light signal. Tip: use the timer of the green man crossing as a gauge.
3. First right turn, form up one row, only 1 car or 2 bikes allowed in yellow box. The rest wait behind. Not sure if can make the right turn or cannot see the traffic from opposite side. Just wait for the right turn arrow. Turn to the right lane and change to left lane after 2 to 3 car length.
4. U turn, STOP at the stop line. Observe the traffic clear, CBR and move off. For the rest, the check back is inwards (meaning: Bike on left, CBR. Bike on right, CBL). Can U turn in Gear 1. Just look at the lane you are turning into. Communicate before U turn to see who go first. Both bikes should end up on the left lane (right lane too tight for U turn).
5. Left turn after U turn, only 1 car or 1 bike allowed. The rest wait. Wait for pedestrians to finish crossing if from right to left. For pedestrians from left to right, wait till then are past your 2 lanes or middle of the whole crossing. If the left turn green arrow is on and you are already moving, BSL and turn. At most can pass 2 to 3 bikes.
6. All the bus stops are your action points. Look at bus stop, time to do something. Either change lane, or switch from staggered to single row.
7. After left turn, keep to right lane only around the bus stop area (100m or so after the white post box) and not before. Reason: if you signal right to change lane, you might confuse other road users that you are turning right to the side lane.
8. Merging lane, once on the first arrow, signal left. On the last arrow, blindspot left then off signal. After that, all bikes in single row.
9. After the Honda entrance, then signal right to enter to CDC.
10. At the chevron marking, look ahead. Make sure only 1 car or 2 bikes allowed to right turn. Then CBL, almost 45 degrees enter left lane (nearest lane), then Mirror and signal right. Right blind spot then change lane.

Key idea is to demonstrate how to be a road ready and road worthy rider and not be a hazard or danger to others. Once behind a machine, we have the responsibility of the lives of ourselves and other road users. Remember that.
