Primitive Camping Florida:
Here's a recap of my backpacking/camping trip to the Creekside campsite in the Arbuckle Tract within the Lake Wales Ridge State Forest near Frostproof, FL.

The 2-mile hike to this backcountry campsite follows a beautiful trail along the creek. As you typically do while primitive camping in Florida, expect to encounter or at least hear hogs, deer, coyotes, owls, many species of birds, and perhaps a bear.

This was a particularly chilly (by Florida standards) evening and morning than only added to the experience for me.
