Battery Switch on or off When I Leave My Boat at the Dock?

"Hey Jeff", writes David, "Is it okay to turn off the house battery switch when I'm on shore power or should I leave it on? Does it matter? Maybe you can review the protocol when leaving your boat at the dock - I usually just boat on weekends."
