The Star Wars™ Home Arcade Game features the original Atari arcade versions of the classic games based on Star Wars, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi!

Star Wars is a first-person rail shooter video game designed by Mike Hally[5] and released in arcades in 1983 by Atari, Inc.[6] It uses 3D color vector graphics to simulate the assault on the Death Star from the 1977 film Star Wars. Developed during the Golden Age of Arcade Games, Star Wars has been included on lists of the greatest video games of all time.
The game features synthesized voices to emulate the actors from the film. The player engages in a dogfight with Darth Vader and enemy TIE fighters in outer space near the Death Star. After the TIE fighter waves, when flying towards the Death Star, the yellow grid lines on the Death Star spell out either "MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU".
In the second phase, the player must fly across the surface of the Death Star to reach its equatorial trench.
In the third phase, the player must navigate the trench until finally firing a proton torpedo for a direct hit on the exhaust port target. If the player is successful, the Death Star explodes and the player is awarded a bonus shield.

Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back is the sequel to the vector graphics Star Wars arcade game. It was released by Atari Games in 1985 as a conversion kit for the original game. As in Star Wars, the player takes the role of Luke Skywalker in a set of battle sequences in a first-person perspective. The game features the Battle of Hoth and the subsequent escape of the Millennium Falcon through an asteroid field. The game is the third Star Wars arcade title from Atari; the raster game Return of the Jedi came out the previous year. Home ports were released by Domark for the Amstrad CPC, BBC Micro, ZX Spectrum, Atari ST, Commodore 64, and Amiga.

The game, which was the second arcade release by Atari based on the Star Wars franchise, uses raster graphics rather than the vector graphics used in the first and third arcade games. Several home ports were released by Domark for the Amstrad CPC, ZX Spectrum, Atari ST,[1] Commodore 64,[2] and Amiga[3] in 1988. The game is included as an unlockable extra on Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike for GameCube. The player pilots a speeder bike to the Ewok village. The next stage involves piloting the Millennium Falcon to destroy a reactor. Another speeder bike stage follows. The final stage involves piloting both an AT-ST and the Millennium Falcon in rapid succession in a fight against a Star Destroyer.
