Sure hope you enjoy my brand-new single, “PANDORA’S BOX.”

The legend of Pandora’s box is a story about a girl who needed to keep a box full of dark and horrible things closed. If she opened the box, they would come out and curse the planet. Happy story, huh? However, I feel that we, as regular non-ancient Greek people, have a different relationship to boxes. And keeping them closed and things.

As I got older, I realized that my temptation was to put Jesus inside the box of my mind. I decided I understood Him enough to not need to get to know Him better. I didn’t need to grow, I got the gist of all of it. And as a result, my faith stagnated.

There’s a difference between knowing Jesus and knowing all of Jesus. We know Jesus as Savior and Lord and Friend. But we don’t and will never know Him completely. Isaiah 55 says that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. And that gives us cause for joy. So I wrote a song about that. I hope you enjoy it.
