The Nature Preservation Foundation is a charitable not-for-profit organization that has a 49-year Lease and Management Agreement to manage and operate the Hope Royal Botanic Gardens.

The Plant Nursery was established for experimental purposes and later with the primary purpose of replenishing the Gardens. However, over the years it has evolved into a commercial operation.
