現在街頭人手一杯飲料的景象已不稀奇,
而這些來自飲料或是飲食中的糖份總是讓人覺得會發胖,
於是想減肥的人便興起了那麼就完全戒掉這些糖份的念頭吧!
但這是可行的嗎?
人體可以完全不需要糖份嗎?

其實答案是不行的!
首先我們最重要的器官-大腦,便是仰賴糖份生存與運作,
正確來說是葡萄糖。
我們腦細胞幾乎只吃葡萄糖的情況下,
若是完全戒糖導致人體血糖太低,
導致腦部功能無法運作甚而暈倒都是有可能的。

葡萄糖對於人體確實是有其重要性的,
但也千萬不要因為這麼重要就大量攝取葡萄糖,
因為今天大量攝取的若是蔗糖、高果糖玉米糖漿這類的Simple sugar,
雖然說人體確實可以因此而快速獲得葡萄糖,
但是這個快速也會進而讓人體的血糖快速飆升,
這時胰臟就會趕快分泌胰島素,
來將血糖帶到肝臟肌肉或是脂肪去消耗或儲存。
也就是說,
糖吃的越多就會導致胰島素分泌的越多,
這無疑是對胰臟的重大負擔,
時間一拉長就有很大的機率罹患糖尿病,
另外胰島素也會促進脂肪堆積,
這也就是吃的越甜就發胖的越快的原因!

因此我們人體需要的糖來自原態的全榖根莖類,
例如:糙米、地瓜、馬鈴薯等等,
被消化、吸收的速度就會慢得多,
血糖增加的速度若是很緩和的話,
胰臟也不再需要急急忙忙的分泌胰島素來降低血糖,
脂肪也因此不那麼容易堆積了!
