Cave Run Lake Memorial Bass Tournament - Team Bass Boat Tournament - Morehead, Kentucky

My buddy, Scott, asked me to fish the Friends of Cave Run Lake Memorial Bass Tournament with him for the second year in a row (a bass boat tournament, a nice change from my kayak!), but this year we actually qualified to move on to fish Day 2 for the money! Conditions were tough... the lake had just dropped, the weather had just warmed up (water temps were 72-77), and wind and clouds were mostly absent on these 2 days, leaving the lake crystal clear and hard to catch fish! We eeked by with enough to qualify 14th out of the 20 boats that made it to day 2, but ended up with only one small fish on day 2 and finished 20th out of the 90 total boats entered. It was a super fun weekend on one of the most beautiful lakes I've ever fished, and I can't wait to try again next year!
