The cliffs of Apache Leap are just east of Superior, AZ, and something I've known about since I was a kid. I played it safe and hiked to where I thought a break in the cliffs would be, according to the map, and there was one. The hike was fun, other that getting wet, and even though the views weren't the greatest due to the clouds, they were still pretty nice. Also having the helicopter fly so close to me was really neat. I was surprised by how close it actually flew over the edge of the cliff as it cleared it.
