A GREAT Fly for Fresh Grilse - Roncade Fly Tying Tutorial

A video tying a small Roncade (variant) salmon fly for fresh run grilse. This fly has served me well on the River Moy tidal beats in recent years.

Tied in larger sizes, it also has great colours for tempting spring salmon

Dressing:
Tag: Gold oval tinsel or wire
Tail: Orange and yellow bucktail mixed, crystal hair above
Butt: Fluorescent green
Body: Gold mylar or flat braid
Rib: Gold oval tinsel or wire
Wing: black hair and mirror flash
Hackle: Fluorescent yellow
