Fulmars on the cliffs at Dunstanburgh Castle

Watch this pair of fulmars nesting on the cliffs next to Dunstanburgh Castle in Northumberland.

The best time to look for them along our coasts is May onwards when they return to their nests and lay a single egg.

I captured the footage and images in May 2024 using my OM-1 and M.Zuiko 100-400mm lens handheld. I filmed from a respectable distance using my long lens to avoid disturbing the birds.
