Crab meat possesses a burst of flavour all by itself— it is subtly sweet with the vibrant taste of the sea captured in its soft, white flesh! This Goan Crab Sukkem is, therefore, a perfect recipe to let the flavour of the crab shine and be sufficiently appreciated. This dry recipe uses coconut which enhances the taste of the crab itself while also providing a rugged texture against the soft, yet firm flesh. Also, when it comes to sucking the meat off the body and legs, the simple spices make this easy dish seem exquisite :)

Ingredients:
1 US Cup= 240 ml

Crabs (washed, cleaned & cut)
2-3 Tablespoons Oil
1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
1 large Onion, finely chopped
1 large Tomato, finely chopped
Green Chillies, as per preference
Salt, to taste
Crushed Black Peppercorns
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
1/4 Cup Water
1 Cup fresh, grated Coconut (even half a cup works fine)
1/4 teaspoon Sugar
Fresh, chopped Coriander for garnish
