Mei Baieid Jong Nga || Ha Khriang Ki Sur Myllung - Ft. La Syrdoh

Happy World Music Week everyone! On this Musical Celebration, Red FM in Collaboration with Czone Productions brings to you "Ha Khriang Ki Sur Myllung", a Mini Mountain Concert, where music and nature entwines together in harmony with some of Meghalaya's Finest Khasi Traditional-Folk Troupe and Artists that will give you a taste of the Abode of Clouds.

Formed in 2022, La Syrdoh is a troupe of young people comprising of members from two places that is Mylliem and Khyrim Village to preserve the traditional Khasi music as well as various customs and traditions. Their head quarter is located in Mawwan operates through the Cooperative Societies with the name of Syrdoh Cultural Society. They are the winners of one of Meghalaya’s most prestigious talent hunt, Meghalaya’s Got Talent Season 5.

In this Video the Main Female Vocalist is wearing a traditional Khasi attire called ‘Jaiñsem Dhara’ and “Kynjri Tabah”(Precious Jewellery). The Musicians are wearing a traditional, “Paila” (Necklace), traditional fused “Jymphong” (Waistcoat), “Boh” (Dhoti), "Jaiñ Teh Syngkai” (Traditional Waist Belt) and “Spong” (Turban)
