Today's parable is of the tenants, Mark 12:1-11. Jesus tells how a Vinyard was leased out to tenants who decided to scare off, and eventually kill the owner's servants who came to collect some of the harvest. Eventually, the owner sent his beloved son and he was killed, too. But on this tragedy, God's Kingdom has been built. God has done this and it is marvelous!
Today's host are butterfly bushes, made to shine with a yellow swallowtail butterfly!
Today's chores are watering everywhere except for the field, as best I can, and trying to deep water the beautyberry and butterfly bushes. The weeds are drying up,, along with some of the ones I am trying to save. Hopefully, we will get some rain on Sunday, as the forecast is not turning more in our favor. How much will we get? I am sure everyone is hopeful for more than a few tenths, which seems to becoming the norm. Part of today's devotion talks aout shouldn't we be trying to be fruitful so God will consider us one of His righteous children? I cannot possibly water the weeds, too, to save them. And if they don't make it, I will feel no great loss. Let's not let God look at us in that way! A list of most of the plants in my garden are in the Good News *343 and *344; that is, before the drought of 2024.

Revelations 3:7b, What God opens, no man can shut, and what God closes, no man can open! When we are standing before such a mighty God as this, and His Holy Spirit will be with us, guiding and directing us, we will not fail! Harvesting for God can simply be reading His Holy Word and/or offering personal experiences or wisdom you have learned and earned through your life. Or it could be as creative and imaginative as God sends you ~ maybe even a garage band creating "Garage Gospel"! Remember, benefits are out of this world, in paradise! God bless you, my friend!
