This set presents a sophisticated and one of a kind decor which is all the more outstanding given their somewhat rustic quality of execution. Pieces like this evoke the countryside and the reality of 90% of the French population at this time. Collectors differentiate between true country pieces such as these and regional masterpieces which could technically be categorized as “provincial” but which are not rustic at all.
