Use an appropriate text type from the options below the task you choose. Write 250 to 400 words.

3. Last week, you read an article about a teenager who had contributed greatly to protecting the oceans. You want to share your thoughts about this article with other young people. Write a text in which you highlight what the teenager did, and what you and other young people might learn from the teenager’s achievements.

You are given 3 text type options to select from. In this case, they are: Blog, Email or Essay. The most suitable option is a Blog.

How to decode the question?

You need to plan your answer based on what the question asks. They key points are:
• you highlight what the teenager did
• what you and other young people might learn from the teenager’s achievements.

Make sure you address each of the above points in your response in order to obtain full marks.
