Canoe Camping Boreas Ponds with the Adirondacks Best Views

An Adirondack canoe trip to Boreas Ponds. The most remote and beautiful body of water in the Adirondack Park in New York State. Take in the best views the Adirondack park has to offer which include the Adirondack High Peaks and specifically the Adirondack Great Range.

I'm paddling a Placid Boatworks Rapidfire and my buddy Mike is paddling a Placid Boatworks Oseetah. Geoff and Emily are paddling Hornbeck canoes. And last but definitely not least... my lovely wife Barb is paddling a Swift Cruiser.

*VERY IMPORTANT NOTE ON DRONE USE*
Before launching a drone be aware of the FAA rules on usage and restrictions. The Adirondacks also have their own set of rules regarding drone use. You are not allowed to launch and operate a drone from within the High Peaks Wilderness... which Boreas Ponds is within. My opening drone shot was taken outside the no-fly boundary just north of the LaBier Flow in the Vanderwhacker Wild Forest and the drone kept within my line of sight. You can reference the land classifications map below for legal flying zones. Outside of the technical rules... and as a basic human courtesy... I also take special care to make sure I am not interrupting anyone's camping or nature experience. If people are around in these peaceful places... the drone stays grounded.
