The Kawasaki Ultra 310 Jet Ski Exhaust Filter Debate - Will removing the filter cause damage?

Описание к видео The Kawasaki Ultra 310 Jet Ski Exhaust Filter Debate - Will removing the filter cause damage?

I am often asked if installing an exhaust filter bypass or delete plate will cause damage to the engine. The answer is NO. Our skis feature Inconel exhaust valves that are designed to withstand rust and corrosion- and even salt and acid- at high temps.

Lack of maintenance and lack of attention to proper procedure WILL cause damage, but removing the exhaust filter element in and of itself will not have any adverse effects as long as you follow the tips I provide.

The filter works primarily when the ski is STORED, and is designed as a safeguard for consumers who often fail to follow proper maintenance procedures.

If you have nothing but time and extra cash to spend on exhaust filters, go ahead and replace it every 25 hours.

WARNING: modifying your Jet Ski in any configuration other than stock will likely void your warranty.
