[ QUICK NOTE: ] To those of you who have watched my TGCF videos, the effect and overall aesthetic may be familiar to. To those who haven’t, I’m pleased to announce that my love for the multiple layering effect has made its way here.

For all of you, I have four words: “I went all out...”

The number of layers used in this one exceeded anything I've done previously. I will not say what the exact number of layers is, only that at the beginning of this video, there were 31 layers, and the music was hardly 40 seconds in. Overall, I’ll admit to the process of layering being strenuous and, at times, frustrating. However, I love the end result. It was worth every minute spent straining my back and neck whilst making sure everything was running smoothly.

[END OF QUICK NOTE ]

The donghua has ended, and I’m still an emotional wreck, so I had to let it all out through the one and only way I’m good at: making a video.

For the sixth tribute I present to you: WangXian; the audio drama version of the song Lan Wangji composed for Wei Wuxian.

In a comment, someone wrote to me about a video that I’ve edited and said that trying to put their thoughts into words would be disrespectful. I feel the same way about the entire donghua. No words can begin to describe how I feel. Instead, I’ll leave this video here and hope it will speak for itself.

Thank you to the entire team and the animation studio for their hard work and for bringing the characters into life and the beautiful artwork that went to each episode.

An even bigger thank you to Mo Xiang Tong Xiu for making all of this possible. For thinking up and putting into words such an incredible tale. For giving us fans something beautiful to admire.

Closing, as always, I would like to use a quote:

“We part ways with a song, but no matter how far apart we are, we will meet again someday…”
