In this video I go through the process of cleaning, sharpening, and oiling our pruning tools in readiness for the winter pruning of our apple and pear cordons. All of the tools and equipment come from niwaki.com but similar stuff is available elsewhere. I am using the 'crean mate' block for cleaning, a 1000 grit sharpening stone, camellia oil for the blades, and olive oil for wooden handles. I go through this process regularly to keep the blades in good condition.
