Priti Patel accuses Labour MPs of racism

The Home Secretary has said Labour MPs who accused her of using her own experiences of discrimination to gaslight racism, are “racist” themselves.

Asked on ‘Sophy Ridge on Sunday’ if she thinks some people have a problem with her as a BAME woman who is a Conservative, Priti Patel said: 'I think clearly in the case of those Labour MPs, they simply do primarily because they clearly take the stance and the position that I just don’t conform to their preconceived idea.'
