Q) పూరీ ఆలయం లోకి హిందువులు కాని వాళ్లని ఎందుకు రానీయరు? Why Non-Hindus are not allowed into Puri temple?
A) దానికి సరైన కారణం నాకు ఎక్కడా దొరకలేదు. చూచాయిగా కొన్ని విషయాలు తెల్సాయి.
1) వందల ఏళ్ళ క్రితమే మతమార్పిడి ముఠాలు ఆ ఆలయానికి వచ్చిన భక్తుల మతాలు మార్చేద్దామని చూస్తూ ఉంటే, అప్పుడు ఆ నియమం పెట్టారు అని ఒకా పెద్దాయన చెప్పారు (ఎంత నిజమో నాకు తెలియదు)
2) ఒరిస్సా రాష్ట్రానికి పూరీ హృదయం లాంటిది. అక్కడ ప్రతిమనిషికీ జగన్నాధుడు అంటే ప్రీతి. ఈ నియమం వల్లేనేమో తెలీదు, అక్కడ మతమార్పిడి మన రాష్ట్రంతో పోలిస్తే చాలా చాలా తక్కువ. పాలకుడైనా సరే మతం మారితే వాళ్ళు ఆలయంలోకి రానివ్వరు (రాబోయే వీడియోలో వస్తుంది)
3) ఈ నియమం వల్లనేనేమో , ఆ ఆలయం తురుష్కుల దండయాత్రలకి పెద్దగా లోను కాలేదు . దాదాపు 1000 సంవత్సరాలనుండీ చెక్కు చెదరకుండా ఉంది
