Canning Dill Pickles in the Nesco Canner

Hello everyone! In today’s video, I’m canning delicious dill pickles using my Nesco canner. Originally, I planned to make dill pickle relish, but a fresh batch of cucumbers and a missing ingredient led me to this simple dill pickle recipe. Follow along as I show you how to make these crisp, flavorful pickles at home.

*Ingredients:*

4 lbs pickling cucumbers
1 tbsp black peppercorns
8 dill heads (or substitute dill seed)
1/4 cup minced garlic
5 tbsp + 1 tsp pickling salt
3 1/4 cups white vinegar
4 cups water
Pickle Crisp (optional)
