About Speaker: Poornima Raveendran
Poornima Raveendran completed her education (M.Sc.B.Ed.) from SPPU, Pune. She has over 10 years of teaching experience, having taught at Abasaheb Garware Junior College and later at the IISER-Pune undergraduate Biology lab. Poornima has been a mentor and judge at Synthetic Biology competition (iGEM) and she has been a part of various lab-based outreach programs for students and teachers conducted at IISER, Pune. She strongly believes in the potential of experiential learning and has been conducting HANDS-ON Molecular Biology workshops for students of different age groups for almost 5 years now.
