Join us as we wander around the beautiful narrow streets of this ancient city, once the capital of the Vestini population. Penne is located between Abruzzo's Gran Sasso & Monti della Laga National Park and the Adriatic Sea offering the most most dramatic views!

Start your tour of Penne at the monumental entrance to the town - San Francesco's gate (rebuilt in 1780) and wander round exploring at your leisure. Many of the churches are currently closed for restoration but there is still so much to see and so many little boutiques, bars and cafes to visit!
