How to Assemble a Mola Demi 22" Beauty Dish and Unboxing. Step by step.

In this video we filmed and narrated a step by step process for unboxing and how to assemble a brand new Mola Demi 22" Beauty Dish.
The Mola Beauty dish that we assemble has the optional 20 degree grid and also the optional Opal Glass deflector which are also included in the assembling process.

This Mola Demi is brand new and was one of a new batch of dishes manufactured only a couple of weeks before we received it, so as of this date of publishing this video the Mola dish is only about three weeks old from manufacture.

Our video was filmed at the studio of Katherine Calnan Photography a professional fashion and commercial photographer based in Calgary Alberta.

The length of the tutorial is a 10 minute video and is as short and precise as we could make it while still covering all of the steps needed to unbox and build your own Mola Demi 22" Beauty Dish.

The PAD (deflector) section of a Mola beauty dish does have a number of fasteners, washers, spacers etc and we found that instruction were definitely needed to make for a quick build.

We assembled this dish, filmed and edited it in the most logical way we could think of and we hope that it helps people assemble their own Beauty Dish as easily as possible and then help others to decide on their purchase if they are interested in the Mola products.

Our Mola Demi 22" Beauty dish was purchased by Katherine Calnan Photography for use with professional fashion and commercial photography and no discounts or endorsements were received.

We chose the Mola and purchased as we felt it is one of the best beauty dishes available on the market for our own needs.

Katherine will be doing a full review video using the Mola Demi on one of her fashion shoots in the future. As it was purchased by Katherine Calnan Photography and not endorsed in any way, the review for the Mola Demi will be unbiased. The review will also have instruction on using the beauty dish and show images from the photoshoot so that you can see the results and quality of light from the dish.

At the time of writing this we haven't yet used the Mola to modify the light for any photos so the only review we can give currently is that the build quality of the dish is very good and the fit and finish are excellent.
Purchasing such a costly piece of photographic equipment is usually preceded by a lot of research and we hope this and the future review will make that process easier for you.
