June 3,4 2023 :This was my first ever overnight sail! I decided on New Buffalo, Michigan mainly because it was close (about 10 miles) to Michigan City my home base marina. Especially if anything went wrong. Everything worked out fine! Even with the directly into the wind destination on the first day. One must adapt to every situation and the weather to be a successful sailor. It was beautiful out the whole trip...enjoy! I can't wait to go on a longer voyage.......
