Are you doing lateral lower body exercises regularly? I'd be willing to bet that you're not! It's okay though, you're not alone. The majority of leg exercises are done in one plane of motion, which is the sagittal plane. However, our body doesn't just move in one direction, so it would be in our best interest to train in multiple planes of motion too!

Which is where this video comes in! In this video, I'll walk you through one of my favorite lateral leg movements, the side lunge! Side lunges are a great exercise to help build strength and mobility in your lower body. They can be done as a bodyweight only exercise, as well as, with free weights or bands. I'll even show you a way to combine both for an extra challenge!
