The Rolls Royce Merlin XX memorial engine, recovered from the site in Germany where Halifax JD150 crashed on July 28th 1943, is run up in public at the Wings Museum in Balcombe for the first time.

A tribute to the crew of JD150, who died that fateful day, is lead by George Dunn DFC, who was a Halifax pilot serving with 10, 76 and 608 Squadrons, flying 44 operational sorties in World War Two.
