Singapore, February 1942. Singapore is regarded as the strongest fortification in the world: large-caliber coastal batteries are protecting the Pearl of the Empire, but the guns are pointing in the wrong direction. The Imperial Japanese Army has landed on the unprotected shores of Melaka with approximately 70,000 men and is surprisingly thrusting forward through what had previously been regarded as impassable terrain towards Singapore. General Percival has made extremely damaging strategic errors in regard to the defenses of Singapore. You now take over command of the English, Australian and Indian troops defending Singapore. Repel the first Japanese attack! Some Hurricane fighter planes have arrived in the port – but they still have to be assembled. However, until the Hurricanes are ready for combat you can deploy some Vickers light bombers called Vildebeest.
