A study at Texas Tech reported that topically applied emu oil reduces burn pain as effectively as 600 milligrams of ibuprofen taken 3 times daily.

Let that sink in for a minute.

A topical oil is as effective as ibuprofen for pain because of its natural anti-inflammatory and transdermal properties.
Now just imagine how you can save your poor stomach lining and just apply a topical oil instead to manage every day pains, bruising, burns, swelling, stiffness and SO much more!
Pure emu oil contains a complete balance of essential fatty acids, which play a part in almost every function of the human body – including the regeneration of healthy new skin cells.
Introducing our Pure CERTIFIED Emu Oil

What is it?

There are three grades of emu oil.
1. Crude
2. Once refined
3. Fully refined

Our 100% emu oil is fully refined, certified AEA emu oil. It can be used topically and internally.

A fully refined oil can penetrate the skin more effectively than a non refined product and can help with many common issues such as:
•Every day skin moisturizing.

•Excessively dry skin. *Either apply singularly or add a few drops into your regular creams or serums.

•Antiaging and wrinkles. Emu oil is a natural skin thickener, so it can be very helpful for aging skin that is thinning and getting crepey.

•Makeup remover – I use it for my eye makeup removal every night.

•Stretch marks are actually scars, and emu oil is very helpful in softening scar tissue and lessening the deep color of a mark. You will want to apply a few times per day to help with this.

•Dry scalp and hair care. *just a little bit on dry, frizzy ends is so helpful.

•Hair regrowth for dormant follicles. *Now, this is in a category all its own, and I have seen with my own eyes, traumatized hair follicles ( for example too tight braiding causing bald patches) start producing hair again – but I cannot guarantee this. Emu oil can help, but don’t think it can cure balding – because it can’t.

•Scratches and cuts. *This is literally the FIRST thing we reach for in our house when someone is wounded. It helps with the pain and then due to its antibacterial properties, it can help to prevent bacterial growth.

•Eczema and Psoriasis. If you have dry, patchy and itchy areas on your skin, emu oil will help to quickly, soothe and heal those areas.

Emu oil is 100% non-comedogenic. Meaning that it will NOT clog pores or cause acne. As a matter of a fact it is excellent to use on acne prone skin if they are in need of more hydration or to help heal blemishes.
How do I use it?
1. Just massage a few drops onto the area where you need help. Be it a burn, sore area, a bug bite or for moisturizing. Apply as often as needed.
2. If it is your face, just do 1 pump into your fingertips. Rub both hands together and then gently pat over face.

After a peel
3. If you just did a peel, rinse the acid off well. Lightly pat your face dry (never dry it all the way – always leave it a bit moist) then apply some oil. It will help to soothe any irritation and will aid your skin in healing and reducing any inflammation. You can continue to use this daily for as long as you wish.

Exceptions - Cautions!
1. Pure, CERTIFIED emu oil is a bit more expensive than crude or once refined emu oil. It is double refined, tested to meet strict criteria, and then filled by an approved CERTIFIED emu oil bottling company. There are only 9 companies that hold this approval – Platinum Skin Care’s facility is one of them!

2. That is why your number one caution is that most of the cheaply priced “emu oils” on the market today are adulterated.
Meaning that most are mixed with ostrich oil, olive oil, and other bird oils to lessen the cost! Unfortunately, many of these oils are not good for your skin and can be very comedogenic. Also NONE of them have the same healing and anti-inflammatory responses that pure emu oil does. So you are only doing yourself a disservice purchasing them.

3. The WORST part about this? You could NEVER tell just by looking or even smelling the oil. It requires testing. The AEA regularly purchases oil from “supposedly certified oil” suppliers and has them tested. That is how we know what they are generally adulterated with.

4. So how do you know if the oil you are buying is actually CERTIFIED? Anyone can put a claim on a website, or pop a picture there.
5. You MUST look for not only a certification notification on the label, but also a batch number. *Ours is on a sticker inside your box or on your bottle.
6. Take that number and CALL the American Emu Association. Tell them where you got it and the number. They will tell you if that is a true, certified oil or just a knock off.
