Dyeing Cotton and Tencel Yarn Using Procion Dye. Experimenting With Yellow and Blue

Описание к видео Dyeing Cotton and Tencel Yarn Using Procion Dye. Experimenting With Yellow and Blue

Today I wanted to experiment with achieving a bright, fun dye job using only two dye colours. My aim was to try and achieve blending of the two colours.

Is dyeing not your style, or you aren't ready to jump in headfirst? Head over to Spellbound Weaving's Etsy store to purchase hand dyed yarn - https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/Spellbou...

Our Procion dye is mixed using the ratio of 1 teaspoon of dye to 120ml (4oz) of water. For colours with a *, double the amount of dye. For colours with ** use four times the amount of dye.

The fibres used today are 8/2 Maurice Brassard Tencel and 8/2 Bockens Egyptian cotton in natural.
Colours used today are Dharma's Caribbean Blue and Bright Yellow.
