Here is a quick and simple video on how to replace the dead / weak battery in your Jeep Grand Cherokee key fob. This fob is from the L version but the process is the same for any model that looks like this fob. All you need is a small screwdriver and your new battery. The first step is to remove the mechanical key by pressing the button on the side and sliding out the physical key. Then you can use that or a screwdriver and press off the back half. It will require some force. After that, you have access to your 2450 battery and can pry it out with a small flat tip screwdriver. Place the new battery + side facing upward and close the case back up. You're all set!!
