話說靈感源於英式下午茶小吃,為殖民時代中西合壁的港式風味。“懷舊” 是為70年代受歡迎小吃之一,那時以原隻大蝦釀入,而非蝦膠。時至今日,由於人工成本上漲,此小吃利潤低,便更難於一般餐廳品嚐。

我偏愛沒有麵包糠的版本,加上芝麻,一片芫荽,激發大蝦及多士香氣,非常可口。

One of the Hongkongnese-Cantonese dim sum dishes. It's being said as a fusion creation back to the colonial time mixing local and western culture inspired from English afternoon tea snacks.

'Nostalgic' refers to the cooking style by using whole prawn instead of prawn paste which was popular as luxurious dish back to 70s. Restaurants tend to use prawn paste nowadays to save labour and time cost.
